Sebagian besar teknisi humas Indonesia Power Suralaya tidak berlatarbelakang dari kehumasan atau ilmu komunikasi. Hal ini menandakan lemahnya kompetensi sumber daya manusia dalam menjalankan peran secara optimal, khususnya pada pengelolaan content plan dan narasi melalui media sosial Instagram. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran teknisi humas dalam mengelola content plan dan narasi melalui instagram serta hambatan yang dialami teknisi humas dalam proses pengelolaan content plan dan narasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan konsep tahapan content plan dan narasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara mendalam dengan 5 teknisi humas, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini adalah terkait tahapan pengelolaan content plan seperti menentukan tujuan dan tugas, melakukan observasi dan analisis, menentukan komponen, membuat sisntesis, dan membuat perencanaan serta tahapan pengelolaan narasi seperti tahap persiapan, pengumpulan data, pengorganisasian, penyuntingan dan penyajian. Namun terdapat beberapa hambatan yang memengaruhi efektivitas pengelolaan content plan dan narasi. Hambatan tersebut terbagi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu hambatan teknis, semantik dan perilaku. Dengan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan pengelolaan content plan dan narasi bergantung pada peran yang sesuai dengan job desc teknisi humas dalam menyelaraskan tujuan perusahaan dengan kebutuhan audiens. abstract: In this era of digital technology, the role of public relations technicians is needed by companies in disseminating information to the public through social media Instagram. Most of Indonesia Power Suralaya's public relations technicians do not have a background in public relations or communication science. This indicates the lack of competence of human resources in carrying out their roles optimally, especially in managing content plans and narratives through Instagram social media. This research was conducted to find out how the role of public relations technicians in managing content plans and narratives through Instagram and the obstacles experienced by public relations technicians in the process of managing content plans and narratives. The approach used in this research is qualitative with the concept of content plan and narrative stages. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews with 5 public relations technicians, observation, documentation and literature study. The results of this study are related to the stages of content plan management such as determining goals and tasks, making observations and analysis, determining components, making synthesis, and making plans and stages of narrative management such as the preparation stage, data collection, organisation, editing and presentation. However, there are several obstacles that affect the effectiveness of content plan and narrative management. These barriers are divided into three parts, namely technical, semantic and behavioural barriers.
