description: Society continues to face various major challenges in maternal and child health, including increasing maternal and newborn mortality rates, lack of vaccine coverage, and limited availability of health facilities. Therefore, health workers and cadres at the Posyandu in Slipi Village have carried out outreach regarding maternal and child health to improve the level of public health in Slipi Village. The aim of this research is to provide benefits to increase public understanding in Slipi Village about the importance of maternal and child health, which includes beneficial health behaviors such as nutritious diets, vaccinations and prenatal health services. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods.  The results of this research show that the best method to increase public knowledge is through discussion sessions. The outreach process has been carried out well although there are several limitations. The health status of the Slipi community varies with life expectancy ranging from 40 years to 70 years. This also shows that most families routinely participate in nutritional monitoring at the posyandu. Supporting factors for the outreach process in the community are the availability of resources, accessibility, easy-to-reach locations and community support. The inhibiting factor in the extension process is mainly the culture that develops in society.
