Low science literacy scores indicate that learning outcomes are also still relatively low. Learning outcomes are influenced by external and internal factors. Internal factors include intelligence, critical thinking skills, health, learning methods, learning independence, and motivation. The ability to think critically is one of the abilities that is indispensable in this century, as well as a determining factor in learning, especially science. In addition, learning motivation also plays an important role in student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the relationship between critical thinking skills and learning motivation to student chemistry learning outcomes both individually and together. There are 3 types of instruments used, namely tests, non-tests (questionnaires), documentation (final semester exam results). The research sample was determined by simple random sampling method and slovin technique so that 236 samples were obtained from 570 population of class X SMA N 3 Serang City. The research was conducted for 3 meetings with a duration of data processing of 1 month Testing was carried out with the help of SPSS software and for the correlation test method used Pearson correlation test and multipple correlation test. The results showed that critical thinking skills were not significantly correlated with learning outcomes. While learning motivation is significantly correlated with learning outcomes.
