description: Public transportation plays an important role in supporting community mobility in Pandeglang Regency, especially in supporting economic and social activities. However, the implementation of policies related to roadworthiness tests of public transportation still faces various challenges. The focus of this study is the Implementation of Traffic and Road Transportation Policy on Roadworthiness Tests of Public Transportation Routes in Pandeglang Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the process of implementing policies on traffic and road transportation in Pandeglang Regency, especially related to roadworthiness tests for public transportation routes in Pandeglang Regency. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is Charles O. Jones' policy implementation model theory, namely Interpretation, organizing and application. The results show that the dimensions of interpretation, organization, and application have been running according to the rules, but still face obstacles such as lack of understanding of transportation  drivers, limited technical infrastructure, and low compliance with the test schedule. Suggestions include increasing socialization, strengthening technology infrastructure, increasing the frequency of supervision, providing incentives for  obedient drivers, and handling technical obstacles proactively. The implementation of these steps is expected to improve compliance, administrative efficiency, and traffic safety in Pandeglang Regency.
