%I UNIVERSITAS SULTAN AGENG TIRTAYASA %X Creative thinking skills are not only a necessity for students to get a job in the future, but also an important aspect in facing the information age and increasingly fierce competition. In addition, creative thinking skills are also related to the ability to work productively, innovatively, and adaptively in various situations. This ability includes fluency, originality, and elaboration as indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability. However, based on field data, the level of students' mathematical creative thinking ability is low because only 2% of Indonesian students are able to work on high and advanced category questions. This research is quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Serang City. The samples of this study were taken two classes, namely VII F as the experimental class and VII I as the control class. The instruments used consisted of student worksheet based on open-ended approach and mathematical creative thinking ability test. Data analysis in hypothesis testing used independent sample t-test. Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Berbasis Pendekatan Open-Ended %L eprintuntirta47067 %D 2025 %O Kemampuan berpikir kreatif tidak hanya menjadi kebutuhan siswa untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan di masa mendatang, tetapi juga merupakan aspek penting dalam menghadapi era informasi dan persaingan yang semakin ketat. Selain itu, kemampuan berpikir kreatif juga berhubungan dengan kemampuan untuk dapat bekerja dengan produktif, inovatif, dan adaptif di berbagai situasi. Kemampuan ini mencakup kelancaran, kelenturan, dan keaslian sebagai indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Namun berdasarkan data lapangan menyebutkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa tergolong rendah karena hanya 2% siswa Indonesia yang mampu mengerjakan soal-soal kategori high dan advance. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Kota Serang. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dua kelas yaitu VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII I sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis pendekatan open-ended dan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Analisis data dalam pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample ttest. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data penelitian diperoleh bahwa pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang diberikan LKPD berbasis pendekatan open-ended lebih baik dari siswa yang tidak diberikan LKPD berbasis pendekatan open-ended. %A Annisa Ghaida Ramadhani
