By using quantitative research methods, the population used is all employees who work in Patin Fish Breeding in 7 Districts as many as 60 people, with a total sample of 60 people. The sampling technique uses saturated samples. The data used are primary data and secondary data, the methods used to collect primary data are observation, interviews and questionnaires. Secondary data is in the form of library studies in the form of relevant journals and books. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), an analysis tool used by SmartPLS 4. The results of this research show that: (1) Competency has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. (2) The work environment has a positive and insignificant influence on employee performance. (3) Competence has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. (4) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. (5) Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. (6) Work Motivation is able to mediate the relationship between Competency and employee Performance.
