This type of joint is ideal for developments with low stress concentrations in the adhesive, has excellent fatigue resistance, is resistant to corrosion, is relatively light, and is more efficient in load distribution. Adhesive is a type of substance or material that can unite 2 objects by attaching surfaces together. The research tools: soaking place, distilled water. stopwatch, ruler or meter, thermometer, shovel, tensile test equipment and bending test equipment. The materials for the research tools are: mahogany wood and PVAc glue. The variable consists of 2 variables, namely the fixed variable and the dependent variable. With the results of these color changes, the change in immersion R in sea water is more concentrated with an average value of 106, the change in immersion G in sea water is more concentrated with an average value of 60.8, and the change in immersion B in distilled water is more concentrated with an average value of 71.2. Composite soaked in distilled water, sea water, and vegetable oil each had a flexural strength value with an average value of 71.7 MPa, 73 MPa, and 79.9 MPa, while the composite that did not receive exposure had a flexural strength value with an average value of 92 MPa. The flexural modulus composite results have an average value of 8260, 6650, 5160, and 6780.
