description: Before being released from prison, feelings of anxiety can arise in a inmates. The  anxiety experienced by inmates before being released from prison is an impact that  arises from the fear of not being accepted in society. This research aims to find a  profile of the anxiety of inmates who will complete their prison term in the Class  IIB Detention Center in Serang. This research uses qualitative methods with a  descriptive study research approach. Interviews, observation and documentation  are data collection tools for this research. The research was conducted at the Class  IIB Detention Center in Serang, with a total of three inmate subjects who will soon  be released from prison. From the research results, inmates showed a feeling of  anxiety that enveloped them which affected their physical condition and had  difficulty sleeping at night. Providing motivation and doing activities that can  reduce feelings of anxiety are efforts made by prison officers.
