Therefore, the Islamic religious education provided needs to be given careful attention. The aim of this research is to develop an Android application-based learning media called Alif To Ya to enchance the ablity to recognize hijaiyah letters among autistic students. The subject of this research is a second-grade autistic student who has not yet fully developed their ability to recognize hijaiyah letters. This reseacrh uses a mixed method with a sequential exploratory design. Data ceollection was acrried out througt observation, interviews, decumentation, and tests. There are three phases used in this research. The first phase involves the exploration and analysis of qualitative data related to the objective conditions of recognizing hijaiyah letters and the media used by second-grade teachers. The second phase consist of designing learning media based o nan Android apllication, with valisation of the learning media conducted by two expert judges. The third phase involves testing the effectiveness of the developed learning media using Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A design. The result of the this study indicate that the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters among second-grade autistic students has not yet been optimally developed. The media used by the teacher is conventional media using pictures boards. Based on the overall data from the validation and effectiveness testing, the Android applicayion Alif To Ya is deemed suitable for use. This is reflected in the increase of the mean levels A1, B and A2 of the subjects, which are 33%- 87,75%- 66%.
