Continuing education description: This research was prepared against the background of the situation of students who were identified as having learning difficulties who did not know the letters of the alphabet, could not read syllables and could not read words or sentences fluently. The aim of this research is to improve the reading ability of children with learning difficulties using the syllable method. The research method used is aquantitative experimental method using single subject research with analysis within and between conditions. The results obtained were that each phase of this research experienced an ever-increasing graph. This can be seen from thecomparison of the mean level in the baseline phase-1 (A1) of 78.6%, in the Mintervention phase (B) of 86.6% and in the baseline phase-2 (A2) of 84.1%.
