Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis Quasi Experiment. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kopo, sedangkan untuk sampel pada penelitian ini mengambil dua kelas yang berjumlah 63 siswa yang terbagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran project based learning-STEAM dengan konteks budaya Banten dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative learning. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan angket persepsi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa lebih baik setelah penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning-STEAM dengan konteks budaya Banten, 2) berdasarkan angket persepsi siswa, pembelajaran project based learning-STEAM dengan konteks budaya Banten dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, kreativitas, motivasi, minat belajar siswa, dan daya tarik serta pengetahuan siswa terhadap budaya Banten. abstract: This study aims to examine the mathematical creative thinking skills of SMPN 2 Kopo students better after using project based learning-STEAM with Banten cultural context and students' perceptions of mathematics learning using project based learning-STEAM with Banten cultural context. This study uses a quantitative method of the Quasi Experiment type. The population of this study were all students of grade VIII of SMPN 2 Kopo, while the sample in this study took two classes totaling 63 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class will use project based learning-STEAM with Banten cultural context and the control class will use cooperative learning. The data collected in the study used a mathematical creative thinking ability test and a student perception questionnaire.
