description: This research aims to determine the effect of different types and times of application of bokashi fertilizer on the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). This research was conducted in home gardens starting in May - July 2024. This research used a Randomized Block Design with two factors, the first factor was the type of bokashi fertilizer (J) which consisted of two levels, namely rice straw bokashi (J1) and rice husk bokashi (J2). The second factor the time of application of bokashi fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely 10 days before planting (W1), 7 days before planting (W2), 5 days before planting (W3), and at planting time (W4). Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 32 experimental units. The type of bokashi fertilizer has a very real influence on the wet weight parameters of the plant roots, while the time of application (W) has a very real significant on the parameters of plant height aged 4 - 6 WAP, number of leaves aged 4 - 5 WAP, leaf width aged 3 - 6 WAP, and had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height aged 2 – 3 WAP, number of leaves aged 2 and 6 WAP, leaf width aged 2 WAP and wet weight of the plant canopy. There was an interaction between the type and time of application of bokashi fertilizer on the parameters of leaf width at 6 WAP and root length.
