The research employs a quantitative   method. The population involved in the study consists of 92 employees of PT PLN   (Persero) Banten Selatan, with the entire population being used as the sample   through a census sampling technique. Data analysis is conducted using Structural   Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4.1 tool. The research findings   indicate that: (1) Extrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on   employee performance; (2) Occupational health and safety have a positive and   significant effect on employee performance; (3) Extrinsic motivation positively   and significantly affects job satisfaction; (4) Occupational health and safety   positively and significantly affect job satisfaction; (5) Job satisfaction has a   positive and significant impact on employee performance; (6) Job satisfaction   mediates the relationship between extrinsic motivation and employee   performance; (7) Job satisfaction mediates the relationship between occupational   health and safety and employee performance.
