Electronics Nuclear engineering description: Along with the rapid development of air transportation, the role of airports is increasingly important. Backup time is a crucial factor to ensure the smooth operation of the electrical system at the airport terminal. This study analyzes the battery backup time system at Soekaro-Hatta Airport. The purpose of this study is to measure the duration that the battery can last under certain conditions before it runs out of power by conducting serval methods such as field surveys, historical data collection and analysis of statistical data on the data collected. The results of the study indicate a significant decrease in backup time for 100 kVA battery, while the 200 kVA UPS shows stable backup time. This has met the requirements set by Soekarno-Hatta Airport. There are serval factors that can affect the backup time, including the installed electrical load, UPS battery capacity and UPS effeciency. Based on the evaluation results, the current UPS capacity at terminal 1 is sufficient to meet the electricity demand. The decrease in the SoH value of the 200 and 100 kVA UPS indicates that intensive use of the UPS can affect the health of the battery. This decrease signifies the need for further monitoring and maintanance. To improve the efficiency of VRLA batteries by conducting regular temperature monitoring and optimizing the load according to the battery capacity.
