Currently, many people cultivate quail eggs as a livelihood. However, until now there are still many quail breeders who use conventional methods in the process of hatching quail eggs. Moreover, quail cannot incubate their own eggs, which means the eggs will not hatch without the help of an inkubator. The majority of quail egg farmers only use one electricity source which can cause failure in the quail egg hatching process if the PLN electricity source goes out. The process of controlling and monitoring temperature, humidity and light intensity is still done manually so farmers are required to remain at the farm location. The purpose of this study is to design a modern quail egg inkubator that is more efficient and effective in the process of hatching quail eggs. Where temperature, humidity, and light intensity can be controlled using the help of ESP32, DHT11, and AC Light Dimmer so that they can be monitored virtually with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. In addition, the implementation of this quail egg inkubator uses two electricity sources, namely PLN and PLTS as a backup energy source if the PLN source experiences a blackout. Then this study applies the fuzzy mamdani algorithm with three variables divided into two inputs in the form of temperature and humidity and one output in the form of light intensity which acts as a controller for the three variables so that the decision results are more precise. The method in this research applies the waterfall method. This research resulted in (1) A monitoring system for temperature, humidity, and light intensity was successfully implemented using the blynk application on a smartphone. Hybrid power was successfully used as a substitute energy source with the addition of an automatic switch system in the form of an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). (2) The fuzzy mamdani algorithm was successfully implemented with 9 rules so that data from temperature and humidity could be processed with accurate results for the development of quail eggs.
