%T KEANEKARAGAMAN PROTISTA DI BENDUNGAN SINDANG HEULA, SERANG-BANTEN ( REKOMENDASI UNTUK BAHAN AJAR BIOLOGI PADA SUB MATERI PROTISTA KELAS X SMA) %X This study aims to determine the diversity of Protista in the Sindang Heula Dam, assess the water quality in the Sindang Heula Dam based on physical-chemical water parameters, and provide appropriate recommendations for biology teaching materials on the Subtopic of Protista for Class X SMA (high school). Water samples were taken using purposive sampling, and physical-chemical water parameters were measured, including temperature, TDS, sunlight intensity, water clarity, water current strength, pH, and dissolved oxygen, which were measured in the field. Meanwhile, TSS, nitrate, phosphate, and Protista identification were conducted in the laboratory. The results of the study showed a total of 56 genera of Protista, consisting of 23 genera of protozoa and 33 genera of microalgae. The average H' index from all stations was 1.81, which falls into the low diversity category. The highest average relative abundance value across all stations was from the genus Chroococcus (23,67%). The water quality, based on the average values of the measured parameters across all stations, includes: temperature 30,61°C (optimal range), sunlight intensity 65.286 Lux (exceeds optimal limits), water clarity 24 cm (murky category), TDS 64 PPM (good category), TSS 32 mg/L (optimal range), water current strength 0,06 m/s (optimal range), pH 8,77 (optimal range), dissolved oxygen 8,22 mg/L (good category), nitrate 1,29 mg/L (ultra-oligotrophic), and phosphate 0,12 mg/L (ultra-oligotrophic). The results of this study present Protista diversity, suggesting that the appropriate teaching material for interpreting it would be a learning module (26,1%). %D 2025 %O Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman Protista di Bendungan Sindang Heula, mengetahui kualitas perairan di Bendungan Sindang Heula berdasarkan parameter fisika-kimia perairan, serta rekomendasi yang tepat untuk hasil penelitian terhadap bahan ajar biologi Sub Materi Protista Kelas X SMA. Pengambilan sampel air menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, pengukuran parameter fisika kimia perairan meliputi suhu, TDS, intensitas cahaya matahari, kecerahan perairan, kuat arus perairan, pH, oksigen terlarut dilakukan di lapangan, sedangkan TSS, nitrat, fosfat, dan identifikasi Protista dilakukan di laboratorium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total keanekaragaman Protista yang ditemukan sebanyak 56 genera, terbagi atas 23 genera protozoa dan 33 genera mikroalga. Ratarata indeks H’ dari seluruh stasiun yaitu 1,81 termasuk kategori keanekaragaman rendah. Nilai rata-rata kelimpahan relatif tertinggi dari seluruh stasiun yaitu genus Chroococcus (23,67%). Kualitas perairan berdasarkan nilai rata-rata parameter yang terukur dari seluruh stasiun meliputi; suhu 30,61°C (rentang optimal), intensitas cahaya matahari 65.286 Lux (melebihi batas optimal), kecerahan perairan 24 cm (kategori keruh), TDS 64 PPM (kategori baik), TSS 32 mg/L (rentang optimal), kuat arus 0,06 m/s (rentang optimal), pH 8,77 (rentang optimal), oksigen terlarut 8,22 mg/L (kategori baik), nitrat 1,29 mg/L (ultra-oligotrofik), dan fosfat 0,12 mg/L (ultra-oligotrofik).
