Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio campuran plastik PP dan PE serta rasio katalis terhadap kualitas dan kuantitas produk minyak pirolisis. Setelah itu, produk minyak pirolisis yang dihasilkan dianalisa kelayakan keekonomiannya. Metode pirolisis pada penelitian ini dilakukan pada suhu 350°C selama 60 menit dengan variasi campuran plastik PP dan PE dalam 500 gram yaitu 1:1, 2:1, dan 3:1 serta memvariasikan rasio penambahan spent catalyst FCC sebanyak 5%, 10%, dan 15%wt terhadap campuran plastik PP dan PE. Produk minyak pirolisis dilakukan uji viskositas, densitas, dan GC-MS. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Gedung 5 Pertamina Technology Innovation (TI). Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini ialah pada variasi campuran plastik PP dan PE terbaik dengan menghasilkan banyak produk minyak pirolisis terdapat pada rasio 3:1 sebesar 81,56%wt sedangkan pada variasi rasio penambahan spent catalyst FCC dengan campuran plastik PP dan PE 3:1 kualitas produk minyak terbaik terdapat pada penambahan katalis 15%wt sedangkan kuantitas minyak terbanyak pada penambahan katalis 10%wt yaitu sebesar 81,56%wt. Nilai viskositas dan densitas berturut-turut yang didapatkan tidak jauh berbeda yaitu sebesar 1,27 – 1,31 cSt dan 0,769 – 0,770 g/cm3. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi bahwa produk minyak pirolisis yang dihasilkan tidak ekonomis karena biaya operasional lebih mahal daripada harga jual produknya. %X Pyrolysis is one of the methods in processing plastic waste that can be converted into fuel oil. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of PP and PE plastic mixture ratio and catalyst ratio on the quality and quantity of pyrolysis oil products. After that, the resulting pyrolysis oil product is analyzed for its economic feasibility. The pyrolysis method in this study was carried out at 350°C for 60 minutes by varying the mixture of PP and PE plastic in 500 grams, namely 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 and varying the ratio of the addition of spent catalyst FCC as much as 5%, 10%, and 15%wt to the mixture of PP and PE plastic. The results obtained in this study are in the variation of the best mixture of PP and PE plastics by producing a lot of pyrolysis oil products at a ratio of 3: 1 at 81.56%wt while in the variation of the ratio of the addition of spent catalyst FCC with a mixture of PP and PE plastics 3: 1 the best quality of oil products is in the addition of 15%wt catalyst while the largest quantity of oil is in the addition of 10%wt catalyst which is 81.56%wt. The viscosity and density values obtained were not much different at 1.27 - 1.31 cSt and 0.769 - 0.770 g/cm3, respectively.
