The use of slang on X ultimately results in a low understanding of formal language and proper language structure, as well as incorrect interpretation of meanings. Therefore, the objectives of this study are 1) to describe the forms of slang vocabulary in the Full Senyum Community in X during 2023-2024, 2) to describe the meanings of slang vocabulary in the Full Senyum Community in X during 2023-2024, and 3) to describe the implications of the research on the use of slang language by members of the Full Senyum Community in X for teaching Indonesian language in high schools. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, employing the observation method with note-taking and documentation techniques as data collection methods. Furthermore, the data analysis technique employs the intralingual equivalent method, with the basic technique being the determining element sorting technique (PUP) and the advanced technique being the substitution technique. The results of the data analysis reveal six forms of slang vocabulary, namely: basic word forms found in 22 instances, derivative word forms in 4 instances, acronym word forms in 8 instances, clipped word forms in 2 instances, abbreviated word forms in 5 instances, and reduplicated word forms in 6 instances. In addition to the forms, the analysis also identifies four meanings of slang vocabulary: extended meanings found in 6 instances, narrowed meanings in 2 instances, denotative meanings in 34 instances, and connotative meanings in 5 instances. The analyzed findings have significant implications for Indonesian language learning in high schools, such as in the teaching of anecdotal texts in grade X (phase E). Teachers can use these findings as instructional materials in the form of modules to make learning more engaging, especially by creating anecdotal texts in the form of comic strips. date: 2025 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/10/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_CP.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/11/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_FULL%20TEXT.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/13/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_02.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/14/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_03.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/15/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_04.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/16/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_05.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/17/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_REF.pdf format: text language: id identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/18/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_LAMP.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45942/28/Iis%20Natalia_2222200057_01.pdf identifier: Natalia, Iis (2025) BAHASA SLANG PADA KOMUNITAS FULL SENYUM DI X TAHUN 2023-2024 DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMA.
