%I Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtyasa %X This study aims to: (1) develop an effective and practical Internet of Things (IoT) training design based on a starter pack tailored to participants' needs; (2) evaluate the validity of the training design assessed by media and material expert validators; (3) measure the practicality level as a determining factor in IoT implementation; and (4) assess the effectiveness of the developed product in enhancing participants' competencies during the training. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model approach (Branch, 2009), which includes: (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The study subjects consist of 4 media and material experts: 1 industrial technician, 1 SEAMOLEC representative, 1 TECH-C representative, and 1 vocational teacher from SMKN Serang, as well as 17 user respondents, comprising 10 university students and 7 high school and vocational students. The instruments used include media feasibility assessment sheets, material feasibility assessment sheets, user response sheets, and pretest and posttest question sheets. Data collection methods include interviews, questionnaires, observations, and tests. Data analysis techniques involve media feasibility analysis, product moment validity analysis, KR-20 reliability analysis, and n-gain analysis. The results show that the training design was evaluated based on the feasibility of the starter pack media and learning materials. The evaluation indicates that the starter pack media falls under the "Very Suitable" category with a score of x ≥ 69, while the learning materials are categorized as "Very Suitable " with a score of x ≥ 30. Respondents’ evaluations of the training implementation also yielded positive results, categorized as "Very Suitable" with a score of x ≥ 51. A total of 62% of respondents stated "Strongly Agree," and 46% stated "Agree." The instrument validity test for the pretest questions (10 items) showed 7 valid questions and 3 invalid questions (questions 3, 5, and 7). Similarly, the posttest also consisted of 10 questions, with 7 valid and 3 invalid questions (questions 2, 7, and 8). Reliability analysis for the pretest and posttest questions resulted in scores of 0.731 and 0.734, respectively. Dalam penelitian ini digunakannya metode Research and Development dengan pendekatan model ADDIE (Branch, 2009) yaitu (1) Analyze; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; (5) Evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi 4 orang ahli media dan materi, yaitu: 1 orang teknisi industri, 1 orang pihak SEAMOLEC, 1 orang pihak TECH-C dan 1 guru produktif SMKN Serang, dan 17 respon pengguna diantaranya 10 orang mahasiswa serta 7 siswa SMA dan SMK. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media, lembar penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi, lembar penilaian respon pengguna serta lembar soal pretest dan posttest. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan mengumpulkan data wawancara, angket, observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kelayakan media, validitas product moment, reliabilitas KR 20 dan n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pelatihan dinilai berdasarkan aspek kelayakan media staterpack dan materi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan evaluasi, media staterpack masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan skor x ≥ 69, sementara materi pembelajaran berada dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan skor x ≥ 30. Penilaian responden terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan juga menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” dengan skor x ≥ 51. Sebanyak 62% respon menyatakan “Sangat Setuju” dan 46% menyatakan “Setuju”. Hasil uji validitas instrumen pada soal pretest yang akan digunakan oleh peserta sejumlah 10 butir soal, dimana 7 butir soal yang valid dan 3 butir soal yang tidak valid, yaitu soal 3,5 dan 7, sementara soal pretest juga sebanyak 10 butir soal dinyatakan 7 butir soal valid dan 3 butir soal tidak valid, yaitu soal 2, 7 dan 8. Hasil analisis uji reliabilitas pada soal pretest dan posttest diperoleh sebesar 0,731 dan 0,734. Selain itu, uji n-gain menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu diperoleh rata-ratanya sebesar 0,7235 menunjukkan peningkatan hasil pembelajaran atau pelatihan pada kategori tinggi. %D 2025 %A AMALIA DWILESMANA
