High schools subject: LC Special aspects of education description: This study aims to determine the effect of concept attainment learning model on learning motivation and cognitive learning outcomes of students in class XI motion system material at SMA Negeri 8 Pandeglang. The method used was quasi-experiment with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The population in this study was class XI A1 and A2 selected by purposive sampling technique. Data were taken with test and non-test techniques, the results showed that the motivation of experimental class students was 84 and the control class was 78 with a good category. The results of the learning motivation hypothesis test using the independent sample test show a significance where 0.005 <0.05, so the hypothesis is accepted. Cognitive learning outcomes showed an experimental class of 87.57 and a control class of 73.42 and the results of hypothesis testing of students' cognitive learning outcomes using the paired test obtained results where 0.000 <0.05.
