Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen (quasi eksperimental) dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SDN Uwung Jaya. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik sampling purposive dan kemudian dipilih 2 kelas sebagai sampel. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition) lebih baik daripada sebelum diterapkannya model pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition). Hal ini ditunjukkan berdasarkan hasil akhir perhitungan dan data yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan uji-t yaitu t_hitung = 5,951 dan t_tabel = 2,011. Dikarenakan t_hitung lebih besar dari t_tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition) lebih baik daripada peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (direct instruction). abstract: This research aims to determine students' critical thinking abilities in mathematics learning through the application of the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition) learning model. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all class V students at SDN Uwung Jaya. Sampling was taken using a purposive sampling technique and then 2 classes were selected as samples. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results show that the use of the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition) learning model is better than before the implementation of the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition) learning model. This is shown based on the final results of the calculation and data obtained using the t-test namely t_hitung = 5,951 dan t_table = 2,011.
