Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment atau eksperimen semu yang menggunakan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa/i kelas X SMAN 8 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X.8 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan siswa kelas X.4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Teknis tes berupa soal tes materi perubahan lingkungan, dan teknik nontes berupa angket literasi digital dan angket respons siswa. Kemampuan kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 88,4, dan siswa kelas kontrol berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 67,29. Kemampuan literasi digital siswa kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 86,50, dan siswa kelas kontrol berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 66,74. Teknik analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji t (t-test) untuk menguji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dengan media flipbook digital berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan literasi siswa dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of the Learning Cycle 5E learning model with digital flipbook media on students' cognitive abilities and digital literacy on environmental change material. This study is a quasi experimental study or pseudoexperiment using a pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMAN 8 Kota Serang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample selection used a simple random sampling technique, with the sample of this study being students of class X.8 as the experimental class, and students of class X.4 as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and non-tests. The test technique was in the form of test questions on environmental change material, and the non-test technique was in the form of a digital literacy questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. The cognitive abilities of students in the experimental class obtained a very good category with an average score of 88.4, and students in the control class obtained a good category with an average core of 67.29. The digital literacy abilities of students in the experimental class obtained a very high category with an average score of 86.50, and students in the control class obtained a moderate category with an average score of 66.74. Data analysis techniques were using the t-test to test the hypothesis.
