description: This study examines a phenomenon observed in Jatiluhur Village, Jatiluhur  Sub-district, an area characterized by low agricultural productivity within  Purwakarta Regency. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach.  The research location was purposively selected based on predetermined  characteristics aligned with the study's objectives. The population comprised 83  farmers engaged in food production in Jatiluhur Village, from which a random  sampling technique was applied, resulting in 45 respondents calculated using  Slovin's formula. Validity and reliability tests, as well as factor analysis related to  farmers' perceptions of innovations in communication media utilization, were  conducted using SPSS. The findings indicate that farmers’ perceptions of these  innovations are predominantly negative or unsupportive, with 34% of respondents  representing the highest percentage among four categories viewing the technology  as irrelevant, less beneficial, or difficult to access. Correlation analysis between  internal and external factors affecting farmers' perceptions, conducted using the  Spearman rank test, reveals a moderate correlation between internal factors (X1)  and farmers' perceptions (Y), with a significance value of 0.004 (0.004 < 0.05).  Conversely, no significant correlation was identified between external factors (X2)  and farmers' perceptions (Y), with a significance value of 0.308 (0.308 > 0.05).
