The development of the agricultural sector can be said to continue to progress, but if studied more deeply, the process is still hampered by several problems, one of which is a decline in production and productivity. Soybeans are a commodity that is very much needed for the agricultural industry in Indonesia because soybeans are important raw materials for industries such as the tempeh, tofu, soy milk and other food industries. This research aims to describe in detail the performance of soybean seed farming, examine the influence of each input (urea fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, phosmite organic fertilizer, soybean seeds, labor, and land) on soybean seed production, determine the efficiency of using production inputs, analyze sustainability of soybean farming, and Formulating the direction of sustainable soybean farming policies. This research uses explanatory descriptive. This research is planned for a period of 3 months from October to December 2023. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Sampling was carried out using a survey method, with 64 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire which was then analyzed using the Cobb-Douglass function model and continued using Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). Based on the research results, it shows that the general age of farmers is 45-54 years (37%), the general education level is elementary school (53%), farming experience is 1-3 years (69%), and the number of family dependents is 1-3 people ( 78%). Partial use of urea fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, fosmite organic fertilizer, labor and land area does not have a real influence on soybean production in Serang Regency, the use of urea fertilizer production inputs, seed production inputs, land production inputs is not yet efficient, while the use of inputs NPK fertilizer, phosmite fertilizer and labor are inefficient so it is necessary to reduce the amount of production input used. date: 2024 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/1/DISERTASI%20YULI%20SAPUTRA%20FULL%20TEXT.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/2/COVER%2C%20BAB%20I%20%2B%20DAFTAR%20PUSTAKA.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/3/BAB%20II.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/4/BAB%20III.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/5/BAB%20IV.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/6/BAB%20V.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/7/LAMPIRAN.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://eprints.untirta.ac.id/45390/15/Referensi.pdf identifier: Saputra, Yuli (2024) OPTIMALISASI INPUT PRODUKSI DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL PRODUKSI BENIH KEDELAI SECARA BERKELANJUTAN DI KABUPATEN SERANG.
