description: Empowering MSMEs is actually a direct program from the National Economic  Government (PEN) in creating regional business opportunities. Empowerment of  MSMEs in Tangerang City is the object of research. The aim of this empowerment  is none other than to examine the effectiveness of the distribution of the Tangerang  Emas program in Tangerang City. The Tangerang Emas program is an effort by  the Tangerang City government to help SMEs who are starting up their creative  economy businesses.  The aim of this research is to find out how the Tangerang Emas Empowerment  Program is implemented for MSMEs in Economic Recovery in Tangerang City, as  well as to see the impact of the Tangerang Emas program for MSME actors in a  sustainable and accountable manner. In this research, researchers used qualitative  methods with a case study approach. The case study approach emphasizes data  collection, both interviews and observations. Based on the results of research  regarding the empowerment of MSMEs in several sub-districts in Tangerang City,  it can be concluded that although the Tangerang Emas program provides support  in the form of interest-free capital loans to encourage the development of MSMEs,  the results achieved are not optimal. In Tangerang District, many MSMEs are  unable to manage the assistance they receive effectively, especially in terms of  marketing and business management.
