This journal explores the existence of tanjidor music as a traditional art form that has an important role in the preservation of local culture. This research involves a qualitative approach by collecting data through direct observation, interviews, and analysis of related documents. The results highlight the contribution of tanjidor music in maintaining cultural values, caring for local identity, and involving the community in efforts to preserve cultural heritage. This research also highlights the challenges and opportunities faced by tanjidor music in facing modernization and social change in Tangerang Regency. The implications of cultural preservation and the development of forms of adaptation to support the existence of tanjidor music in the future are also discussed.
