description: This study aims to describe Malaysian Malay and Indonesian nouns that have similar or the same form and the same meaning, different form and meaning, the same form, but different meaning, and different form, but the same meaning in the Upin and Ipin Movie found on the Upin & Ipin YouTube channel. The data obtained were 98 pieces. The data were collected through the use of the listening method, starting with basic tapping techniques and progressing to more complex methods such as free listening and note-taking. Data analysis was carried out using the following methods: intralingual comparisons, comparative equating (HBS), differential equating (HBB), as well as comparative equating of main points (HBSP). Data validity was obtained through investigator data triangulation techniques. Based on the findings and analysis, 98 data were found. Of the 98 data, 66 of them are noun-categorized vocabularies that have similarities and 32 data are noun- categorized vocabularies that have differences between Malaysian Malay and Indonesian. The research data can be detailed as follows: (1) noun vocabulary that has similar or the same form and the same meaning as much as 65 data, (2) noun vocabulary that has a different form and meaning as much as 6 data, (3) noun vocabulary that has a similar form with a difference in meaning 1 data, and (4) noun vocabulary that has a different form, but the same meaning as much as 26 data.
