description: This research aims to find out the problem of students' level of responsibility in  terms of using social media which is still not running well and correctly in utilizing its functions, for example, such as being too busy accessing social media, which causes feelings of laziness and delaying coursework. The method used in this research is the Quantitative, which includes product moment and simple regression tests, statistical tests carried out in this research are validity, reliability, normality and hypothesis testing. Through validity and reliability tests, the results showed that the questionnaire in this research was valid and reliable. And through the normality test, the results showed that this research was running normally. Based on the results of the normality test, it was found that the significance value was 0.200>0.05, so it could be concluded that the residual value was normal. Through hypothesis testing, it can be seen that the direction of influence of variable X on Y is positive. Thus, variable X social media Instagram has a positive effect on variable Y, responsible attitude. The perspective regarding the use of social media Instagram on students' responsible attitudes turns out to have positive and negative perspectives.
