description: Language is productive so that it can produce new elements continuously. The presentation of language can be done in various ways. In Indonesian, word formation can be made through several processes, one of which is through reduplication. Reduplication can be found in mass media such as newspapers. The accuracy of language use in newspapers, especially in the use of reduplication, can be a good example for language speakers in using Indonesian that is good and according to the rules. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the form of reduplication in Sindonews.com digital newspaper, (2) to describe the meaning of reduplication in Sindonews.com digital newspaper, and (3) to describe the implication of reduplication in Sindonews.com digital newspaper to Indonesian language learning in junior high school. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collection techniques was carried out using the listening technique and the note-taking technique. The data findings obtained in the research on the form and meaning of reduplication in Sindonews.com digital newspaper amounted to 88 data. The data on the form of reduplication found, namely the whole repetition as much as 76 data, partial repetition as much as 3 data, repetition combined with the affix process as much as 8 data, and repetition with phoneme changes as much as 1 data. The meaning of reduplication data includes the meaning of ‘a lot’ as much as 73 data, the meaning of ‘the action written in the basic form is done repeatedly’ as much as 5 data, the meaning of ‘the action written in the basic form is done casually or happily’ as much as 2 data, the meaning of ‘the action written in the basic form is carried out by two parties and hits each other’ as much as 1 data, the meaning of ‘the highest level that can be achieved’ as much as 6 data, and the meaning that expresses the intensity of feelings as much as 1 data. The findings of this study are utilized as teaching materials for the text of observation reports in the Indonesian language subject of junior high school class VIII of the Merdeka Curriculum. The accuracy of the word formation process, especially in the use of reduplication, can have implications for students writing skills.
