description: Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the global strategies developed by WHO and UNICEF to address health and nutrition issues. Support factors are associated with exclusive breastfeeding. Lack of support from family and health workers can increase the chances of a mother not exclusively breastfeeding her baby. Failure to exclusively breastfeed can have a major impact on child health. This research examined the association of family support and health worker support with exclusive breastfeeding. This research used an observational design with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in the Banjar Agung Health Center working area of Serang City in April - July 2024, with a sample of 53 people selected by purposive sampling method. The data were collected by direct interview using a questionnaire, then the data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there were still mothers with less family support (26,4%), less health worker support (50,9%), and did not provide exclusive breastfeeding (56,6%). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding (p < 0,05), but there is no relationship between health worker support and exclusive breastfeeding (p ≥ 0,05). As for suggestions to improve family support for exclusive breastfeeding, intervention programs such as counseling and nutrition and health education for family members are needed. In addition, training for health workers is also needed in an effort to increase the support of health workers in the promotion of exclusive breastfeeding in the community.
