note: Kelelahan kerja menjadi masalah umum yang sering dialami, baik pada sektor formal maupun informal, seperti petugas pemadam kebakaran. Petugas pemadam kebakaran adalah salah satu jenis pekerjaan yang berisiko mengalami kelelahan kerja. Kelelahan merupakan fenomena kompleks yang dipengaruhi dari berbagai faktor. Beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kelelahan kerja adalah pola makan dan status obesitas sentral. Pola makan yang tidak teratur serta status obesitas sentral dapat menyebabkan kelelahan kerja pada pekerja sehingga akan mengganggu produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola makan dan status obesitas sentral dengan kelelahan kerja pada petugas pemadam kebakaran Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional dengan sampel penelitian 45 petugas pemadam kebakaran Kota Serang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengukuran lingkar perut, kuesioner Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), dan kuesioner Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC). Analisis bivariat dilakukan dengan uji pearson chi-square menggunakan SPSS 27.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden memiliki pola makan tidak seimbang sebanyak 23 responden (51,1%), mengalami obesitas sentral sebanyak 24 responden (53,3%), dan mengalami kelelahan kerja tingkat rendah sebanyak 24 responden (53,3%). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan antara pola makan dan status obesitas sentral dengan kelelahan kerja (p-value < 0,005).
abstract: Work fatigue is a common problem in both the formal and informal sectors, such as firefighters. Firefighters are one of a type of job that is at risk experiencing work fatigue. Work fatigue is a complex phenomenon that is influenced by various factors. Some of the factors that can affect work fatigue are diet and central obesity status. Irregular diet can cause fatigue in workers so that it will interfere with productivity. This study aims to determine the relationship between diet and central obesity status with work fatigue in Serang City Firefighters. This study used a cross-sectional research design with a sample of 45 Serang City firefighters. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by measuring waist circumference, the Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ), and the Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire. Bivariate analysis was carried out using the Pearson chi-square test using SPSS 27 for Windows. The results showed that most of the respondents had an unbalanced diet as many as 23 respondents (51.1%), experienced central obesity as many as 24 respondents (53.3%), and experienced low levels of work fatigue as many as 24 respondents (53.3%). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between diet and central obesity status with work fatigue (p-value <0.005).
