This study aims to determine how the influence of public perception of minimarkets on the socio-economic of traders in the Cikupa Traditional Market, Tangerang Regency. This is due to the large number of minimarkets located within proximity to the market. This study uses a quantitative causal survey method with a population of 440 traders with a sample of 75 traders. The data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics by conducting analysis prerequisite tests and simple regression analysis. The inferential statistical analysis test used the SPSS 22version.. This study uses the Interactionism Symbolic theory by George Herbert Mead using of mind, self, and society as the concept. The concept of mind, self, and society initiated will explain the phenomena that occur from a sociological perspective. Based on the results of the study, public perception of minimarkets is divided into 3 class intervals, namely bad, quite bad, and quite good. While the socio-economic conditions of traders are in the bad category.
