description: This study aims to determine the effect of frass organic fertilizer and several  application techniques of Trichoderma sp. on the growth and yield of eggplant  plants. The research was conducted in Cidokom, Gunung Sindur, Bogor, West Java,  from March to June 2024. The study was designed using a Randomized Group  Design (RGD) with a factorial arrangement repeated 3 times. The first factor was  frass organic fertilizer (P), with doses of 100, 150, and 200 g/plant, and several  Trichoderma sp. application techniques as the second factor, namely application  techniques at the time of seed soaking, at seedling time, and after planting. Data  were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with DMRT further test at the  5% level. The results showed that the application of frass organic fertilizer as much  as 200 g/plant significantly increased all growth and yield parameters. Trichoderma  sp. application technique significantly affected plant height 2 and 3 weeks after  planting (WAP), stem diameter (2, 3, and 6 WAP), and number of leaves (2, 3, and  5 (WAP). There was an interaction between treatments on stem diameter at 6 weeks  after planting, with the best combination of 200 g/plant and Trichoderma sp. at the  seedling stage. These results integrate frass organic fertilizer and Trichoderma sp.  can be used to reduce the impact of excessive use of synthetic fertilizers.
