description: With the rise of vape electronic cigarettes that have not been standardized in one  type of electronic cigarette, namely vape mecha, it has become an attraction  among teenagers today, with the existence of regulations, many countries and  regions face challenges in regulating electronic cigarettes because this  technology is relatively new and changing rapidly. and how standardization can  be applied to vape mecha based on Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer  Protection and its derivative regulations and what form of legal protection for  consumers for producer actions that are not in accordance with Law Number 8 of  1999 concerning Consumer Protection and its derivative regulations and  Empirical legal methods are used to analyze field practices and collect specific  data related to consumer protection. In the context of vape mecha without a chip,  several important aspects that must be considered include safety standards,  information transparency, producer obligations, and relevant regulations.  Research shows that vape mecha without a chip has a higher risk for consumers.  And the principle of legal protection and accountability is key in responding to  violations of consumer rights, with an emphasis on caution in determining who is  responsible for the risks that may arise. Standardization of vape products is  considered necessary to protect consumers from the risk of misuse and ensure  proper use. Standardization can help reduce potential dangers and be a means of  education for vape users and the Consumer Protection Law provides  comprehensive legal protection to consumers through the regulation of consumer  rights, producer obligations, producer responsibilities, and administrative and  criminal sanctions for producers who violate.
