According to ASHRAE, thermal comfort conditions are at 23-26 ℃ with a humidity of 30% -60%. So the ideal design for a Laboratory room is at a temperature of 23 ℃ with a humidity of 50%. The method used to find the cooling load value in the Laboratory is with CLTD ASHRAE and ROT HVAC. From the calculation results obtained in the CLTD ASHRAE method of 57983.01 BTU/h. The load generated by each component is different, namely on the exterior of 8125.41 BTU/h, Interior of 5316.819 BTU/h, Equipment of 18540.17 BTU/h, Lights of 1487.61 BTU/h, People of 6000 BTU/h and Ventilation of 18513 BTU/h While with the ROT HVAC method, the minimum cooling load value is 80807.5 BTU/h and the maximum cooling load is 242422.5 BTU/h. The difference between the CLTD and ROT values is 22,824.94 BTU/h. This difference is because the ROT calculation calculates the entire room and assumes the room is full of computers.
