Academic stress is caused by various factors, including high academic demands, time pressure, and limited resources. The methodology used in this research is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design, beginning with quantitative data collection through questionnaires, followed by qualitative data collection through interviews and observations. The results show that final-year students experience academic stress with various physical, emotional, and cognitive symptoms. The main causes of stress include the inability to manage time, high self-expectations, and uncertainty in the thesis supervision process. This study also identifies coping strategies employed by students, such as time management and social support. These findings are expected to provide a better understanding of academic stress and help design more effective stress management strategies for final-year students.
