note: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara kekuatan
otot lengan dan panjang lengan terhadap push hockey indoor pada atlet hockey
PON Banten sebanyak 12 atlet. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan
total sampling.
Metode pengambilan data menggunakan survei dengan teknik tes dan
pengukuran, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kekuatan otot
lengan menggunakan push up, tes panjang lengan menggunakan meteran, dan
hasil push menggunakan tes akurasi dan speed gun. Data diolah dengan metode
analisis korelasi product moment.
Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang
signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan panjang lengan terhadap kemampuan
push hockey indoor pada atlet hockey PON Banten dimana kekuatan otot lengan
memiliki hubungan sebesar 0,742, panjang lengan sebesar 0,794, dan kekuatan
otot lengan dan panjang lengan terhadap kemampuan push hockey indoor sebesar
0,926.
abstract: This study aims to explore the relationship between arm muscle strength and arm
length in relation to indoor hockey push skills among hockey athletes in Banten,
with a sample consisting of 12 athletes selected using total sampling.
The data collection method utilized a survey with testing and measurement
techniques. The instruments used included a push-up test to assess arm muscle
strength, a measuring tape to determine arm length, and performance evaluation
through accuracy tests and a speed gun.
Data analysis was conducted using the product-moment correlation method. The
results indicated a significant relationship between arm muscle strength and arm
length on the ability to perform indoor hockey pushes. Specifically, arm muscle
strength was associated with a coefficient of 0.742, while arm length had a
coefficient of 0.794. When analyzing arm muscle strength and arm length together
in relation to indoor hockey push skills, the correlation coefficient was found to be
0.926. These findings emphasize the importance of both variables in supporting
athletes' performance in indoor hockey pushes.
