description: This research is based on the low level of critical thinking of junior high school students in understanding science subject matter. Implementing PBL-based learning videos could be a solution to this problem. The research aims to describe the effect of using learning videos on junior high school students' critical thinking skills on the theme my water is polluted. This research uses the method Quasy Experiment in class IX at one of the district's state junior high schools. Attack with an instrument of 15 descriptive questions whose validity and reliability have been tested. After that, the results obtained were that the experimental class which used learning videos obtained normal data while the control class used it powerpoint obtain abnormal data. With the results of data that is not normally distributed, non-parametric statistical tests (man whitney) The obtained r value is 0.001 < 0.05 so it can be interpreted as H1 accepted while H0 rejected. Thus, the application of learning videos has an influence on junior high school students' critical thinking skills on the theme my water is polluted.
