The impact of S. oryzae infestation includes a decrease in the overall quality and selling value of rice. The use of natural pesticides such as lime leaves (Citrus aurantifolia L) is known to contain essential oil compounds, alkaloids and flavonoids that are antifeedant so that they can be used as vegetable pesticides. This study aimed to determine the optimal dose and time interval of lime leaf vegetable pesticide that gives the best effect on mortality of S. oryzae. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Basic Science and Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, and Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City, Banten Province. The research was conducted from April to May 2024. This research method uses a two-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD), the first factor is the dose of lime leaf vegetable pesticide which has 4 experimental levels: P0 = 0 (Control), P1 = 7 gr, P2 = 15 gr, P3 = 21gr. The second factor is the observation time interval which has 3 experimental levels: W1 = 3 DAA, W2 = 7 DAA, W3 = 14 DAA. The resulting treatment combination was 12 combinations, each combination was repeated 3 times to obtain 36 experimental units. In each experimental unit there were 10 of S. oryzae and a predetermined dose of lime leaf vegetable pesticide. The observation parameters in this study included S. oryzae mortality (%), rice damage (%), and weight loss (%). The results showed that the dose of lime leaf vegetable pesticide and the observation time interval were effective in controlling S. oryzae.
