The background of this research is based on the results of preliminary field research using questionnaires with teachers and students from vocational high schools. It was found that students have difficulty understanding the basic concepts of electronics, leading to a lack of mastery in both theory and practice. Additionally, the teaching methods currently employed are still teacher-centered, which hinders student independence in learning. The purpose of this study is to: (1) knowing the process of developing a starter pack-based basic electronics training curriculum; (2) to determine the level of product feasibility as a result of the development of the basic electronics training curriculum; (3) to find out the user's response to the starter pack and video module as a learning medium in the implementation of basic electronics training. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development) with reference to the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely: (1) Analyze (analysis); (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implement; and (5) Evaluate. The final product of this research is a basic electronics training curriculum with a starter pack learning media and video modules, which also serve as the main focus of the study. Data collection techniques in this research include: literature studies, questionnaires, and documentation. The evaluation of the suitability of the learning media and materials involved 9 validators, and the usability test was conducted by 23 training participants relevant to the field of electronics engineering. The data analysis techniques used include qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the feasibility level of basic electronics training refers to the suitability of the starter pack media, the suitability of video learning media, and the suitability of learning materials. The assessment results for the basic electronics starter pack media fall into the category of "Very Suitable" with an average score of 71 and a score range of x≥60. The assessment results for video media fall into the category of "Very Suitable" with an average score of 72.3 and a score range of x≥60. The assessment results for learning materials show that the training materials are in the category of "Very Suitable" with an average score of 66 and a score range of x≥51. Therefore, the media and learning materials can be used in the training process. Furthermore, the assessment by respondents on the training activities received an average score of 64.1 with a score range of x≥51, which falls into the category of "Very Suitable." date: 2024 date_type: published pages: 367 institution: UNIVERSITAS SULTAN AGENG TIRTAYASA department: PENDIDIKAN VOKASIONAL TEKNIK ELEKTRO thesis_type: sarjana thesis_name: sarjana citation: SHOIMATUSSURUROH, SHOIMATUSSURUROH (2024) Development of a Basic Electronics Training Curriculum Based on a Starter Pack.
