note: Pemberitaan mengenai bakal calon Presiden jelang Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu)
Tahun 2024 nyatanya mengundang perhatian masyarakat dan tentunya bagi media
massa sebagai penyalur atau pemberi informasi kepada khalayak. Tempo.co
menjadi portal berita media online yang banyak menyajikan berita Anies
Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, dan Prabowo Subianto sebagai bakal calon Presiden
2024 yang kemudian menarik untuk diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis
penelitian kualitatif dengan berlandaskan paradigma konstruktivisme yang
bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembingkaian Tempo.co dalam
Pemberitaan Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, dan Prabowo Subianto sebagai
kandidat bakal calon Presiden jelang Pemilu 2024 dengan menggunakan Analisis
Framing Robert N. Entman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tempo.co dalam
pendefinisian masalah menekankan terkait pilihan Jokowi yang berpotensi
diberikan kepada tiga nama teratas yang muncul di publik dan tertinggi
disejumlah lembaga survei yaitu Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, dan Anies
Baswedan. Adanya beberapa Partai yang bakal mengusung Anies Baswedan,
Ganjar Pranowo, dan Prabowo Subianto sebagai kandidat bakal calon Presiden
jelang Pemilu 2024 dianggap sebagai penyebab masalah.
abstract: The news regarding the presidential candidates ahead of the 2024 General
Election (Pemilu) in fact invites the attention of the public and of course for the
mass media as a channel or provider of information to the public. Tempo.co is an
online media news portal that presents a lot of news about Anies Baswedan,
Ganjar Pranowo, and Prabowo Subianto as potential candidates for President in
2024 which are then interesting to study. This study uses a type of qualitative
research based on a constructivism paradigm which aims to find out how
Tempo.co is framed in reporting on Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, and
Prabowo Subianto as candidates for the presidential candidate ahead of the 2024
election using Robert N. Entman's Framing Analysis. The results of the study
show that Tempo.co in defining the problem emphasizes Jokowi's choice which
has the potential to be given to the top three names that appear in public and the
highest in a number of survey institutions, namely Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar
Pranowo, and Anies Baswedan. The existence of several parties that will carry
Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, and Prabowo Subianto as candidates for the
presidential candidate ahead of the 2024 General Election is considered to be the
cause of the problem.
