"This thesis focuses on gender equality in the Sociology Education Student \r\nAssociation (HIMADIKSIO) FKIP Untirta organization. The aim of this research \r\nis to analyze and describe the reality of gender equality in HIMADIKSIO. The realm \r\nof campus organizations often becomes a place for the actualization of gender \r\ninjustices such as double burdens, marginalization, and others. The role of women \r\nin organizations is often limited to only holding administrative roles without being \r\ninvolved in filling strategic positions in the organization. HIMADIKSIO itself as \r\none of the intra-campus organizations has structurally achieved equality, where \r\nwomen have been able to fill strategic roles in the organization in several periods. \r\nEven though structurally it has been achieved, this research wants to look in more \r\ndepth at the reality of gender equality in HIMADIKSIO by analyzing 4 indicators, \r\nnamely access, participation, control and benefits. This research uses a qualitative \r\napproach.\r\nThe results of the analysis of the data obtained showed that there were 4 \r\nequality indicators used in this research, namely access, participation, control and \r\nbenefits. In terms of access indicators, HIMADIKSIO already has open \r\nopportunities for all HIMADIKSIO members to be able to join and occupy strategic \r\npositions without discrimination. In terms of participation indicators, in general all \r\nmembers are able to participate without any obstacles to certain genders, both in \r\nexpressing ideas and implementing main duties and functions. However, in several \r\nwork programs, forms of gender inequality are still found, such as marginalization \r\nin the division of activity sections. In the control indicator, all office holders and \r\nmembers are able to use their authority and make decisions optimally without any \r\nobstacles to either gender.
