description: Children are a unit of a community or population group that has resources to be developed so that they can continue to participate in development in the Republic of Indonesia. Therefore, the government has created a Child-Friendly City/Regency (KLA) policy as evidence of the guarantor of the fulfillment of children's rights and also the welfare of children's lives. This happened in the Tangerang City government area as a harmony of child welfare guarantees in the Tangerang City. This research tries to see how the Tangerang City government has taken measures to deal with delinquency among groups of Child-Friendly Cities. This research uses the theory of Prevention from G.P Hoegnagels, accompanied by qualitative research methods and case study apprroach. The results of this reasearch concludes that the prevention of child delinquency carried out by the Tangerang City government has taken place in accordance with the concept of prevention proposed by G.P Hoegnagels which contains 3 (three) main indicators, namely implementing the law, Preventing without providing sanctions, and Influencing influencing public's thinking towards the deviations of attitudes held by the community.
