Electronics Nuclear engineering description: The Internet of Things is a development of technology that can optimize work based on sensors used via the internet network. The development of IoT has become a major communication paradigm, almost all objects in daily life will use microcontroller devices. IoT users will benefit greatly in the future because IoT has become an integral part of the internet. This IoT concept aims to expand the use of internet networks by making it easier to access goods such as household electronics, surveillance cameras, and vehicles that are not spared from this technology. The ESP8266 microcontroller is referred to as a System On Chip (SOC) which has the ability to connect to a TCP/IP network via Wi-Fi in addition to the ability of a microcontroller as a brain. NodeMCU 8266 is an open source IoT platform and development kit which includes processor, memory and GPIO access. In this research, an internet of things trainer kit was created which consists of several senseors including the DHT11 sensor, MQ2 gas sensor, PIR sensor, ultrasonic sensor and RFID sensor.
