description: The development of the world of education that is increasingly fast and dynamic encourages various changes that require teachers to help students to face the future. Along with frequent curriculum changes in Indonesia, the existing curriculum is still considered insufficient in improving the quality of education as indicated by the low indicators of student learning outcomes. Thus, the government is again trying to develop a curriculum to overcome the problems that occur, known as the independent curriculum. In its implementation, there are still several problems including limited resources and learning facilities. In addition, one of the independent curriculum materials in phase F, namely acid-base material, turns out to still cause a lot of confusion in students. Thus, teaching materials are needed that can support the achievement of the objectives of the independent curriculum, one of which is in phase F of acid-base material. This research aims to produce Student Worksheets based on socio scientific issues on acid-base material. This type of research is development research, with the ADDIE model (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). Validation data obtained Aiken's validation value of 0.9 which means valid. Furthermore, the response data of 35 students obtained a “very good” category with a value of 85%. Thus, the socio scientific issues-based Learner Worksheet on acid-base material is valid.
