note: Penelitian ini betujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik CEO yang diproksikan dengan latar belakang Pendidikan CEO dan Pengalaman Kerja CEO dan Kekuatan Pemegang Saham dengan menggunakan Kepemilikkan Saham Mayoritas terhadap Pengungkapan Lingkungan yang diukur berdasarkan Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) versi GRI G4 bagian Environmental yang berjumlah 34 item dengan Karakteristik Perusahaan menggunakan Profitabilitas dan Leverage sebagai variabel kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Periode 2021-2023. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan aplikasi SPSS v29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Latar Belakang Pendidikan CEO secara positif signifikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pengungkapan Lingkungan, Pengalaman Kerja CEO secara signifikan negatif tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pengungkapan Lingkungan dan Kepemilikan Saham Mayoritas secara signifikan positif tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pengungkapan Lingkungan. Variabel kontrol Profitabilitas dan Leverage secara positif tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan.
abstract: This research aims to analyze the influence of CEO characteristics as proxied by CEO educational background and CEO work experience and Shareholder Power using Majority Share Ownership on Environmental Disclosures as measured based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) version of the GRI G4 Environmental section, totaling 34 items with Company Characteristics uses Profitability and Leverage as control variables. The population in this research is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021-2023 period. The data analysis method in this research uses multiple regression analysis with the SPSS v29 application. The research results show that the CEO's Educational Background has a significantly positive and no effect on Environmental Disclosures, the CEO's Work Experience has a significantly negative and no effect on Environmental Disclosures and Majority Share Ownership has a significantly positive effect and no effect on Environmental Disclosures. The control variables Profitability and Leverage have positive no effect on environmental disclosure.
