note: Sawi adalah tanaman dari genus Brassica yang merupakan tanaman semusim. Salah satu penyebab turunnya produktivitas tanaman sawi adalah karena kurangnya lahan untuk bercocok tanam sehingga salah satu cara untuk budidaya tanaman sawi adalah dengan menerapkan hidroponik sistem DFT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian konsentrasi nutrisi AB-Mix dan media tanam pada teknik budidaya hidroponik sistem DFT. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Standarisasi Instrumen Pertanian (BSIP), Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai November 2022.

Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split Plot Design) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi nutrisi AB-Mix yang terdiri dari 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, dan 1500 ppm sedangkan faktor kedua adalah media tanam yang terdiri dari rockwool, arang sekam, dan cocopeat. Berdasarkan kedua faktor tersebut, didapatkan 9 kombinasi perlakuan dengan setiap perlakuan dilakukan 5 kali pengulangan sehingga pada penelitian ini memiliki 45 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tingkat konsentrasi nutrisi AB-Mix 1500 ppm berpengaruh nyata pada tinggi tanaman 28 HST (24,09 cm) dan berpengaruh sangat nyata pada 35 HST (31,99 cm), dan bobot basah tanaman (27,01 g). Penggunaan media tanam rockwool menunjukkan pengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun 7 HST (3,20 helai) dan 14 HST (4,40 helai). Terdapat interaksi antara pemberian konsentrasi nutrisi AB-Mix dan jenis media tanam pada parameter tinggi tanaman di 7 HST (6,02 cm) dan 14 HST (7,60 cm), dan pada parameter panjang akar (36,27 cm).
abstract: Mustard is a part of vegetable commodity that is high in nutrients. The lack of area to grow vegetables has been becoming a main problem to many, and hydroponic is one of the solutions to this problem. This study aims to determine the effect of concentration level of AB-Mix and planting media on the growth and production of mustard (Brassica juncea L.) using hydroponic DFT (Deep Flow Technique) system. The research was conducted from September to November 2022 at Balai Standarisasi Instrumen Pertanian (BSIP) Banten. This research used a split plot design which consisted of 2 factors. The first factor was the concentration level of AB-Mix which consist of 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, and 1500 ppm while the second factor was the different planting media rockwool, husk charcoal, and cocopeat. Every treatment is repeated 5 times, which resulted in 45 sample units. The results revealed that the concentration AB-Mix 1500 ppm had a significant effect on plant height at 28 days after planting (DAP) (24,09 cm), 35 DAP (31,99 cm), and plant fresh weight (27,01 g). The use of rockwool as planting media also had a significant effect on number of leaves at 7 DAP (3,20 strands) and 14 DAP (4,40 strands). The results of this study found an interaction between the concentration level of AB-Mix and planting media for plant height at 7 DAP (6,02 cm) and 14 DAP (7,60 cm) also on roots length (36,27 cm).
