description: This research aims to (1) describe the constructs of gender bias in novels Bumi Manusia Pramoedya Ananta Toer's work and classifies it into five manifestations of gender injustice proposed by Mansour Fakih, namely: marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence and double burden; and (2) examine the implications of the novel Bumi Manusia towards literature learning in high school. This research uses literary research methods with a feminist perspective. The data in this research are in the form of sentences, quotes and expressions that reflect the five manifestations of gender bias. The data collection techniques used include library study techniques (library research), as well as reading, listening and note- taking techniques. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques and data validity checking techniques using investigator triangulation techniques. Based on the research results, 35 data were found, including 2 data of marginalization gender bias, 5 data of subordination gender bias, 12 data of stereotype gender bias, 11 data of violence gender bias, and 5 data of double burden gender bias, in addition to the novel Bumi Manusia It can also be used as teaching material for literature learning in high school using prose text material.
