%X Meanwhile, the purpose of this study is to describe the influence of the student facilitator and explaining model, the non example model, and the difference between the student facilitator and explaining model, the non example model on the poetry writing skills of students in class X of SMAN 2 Serang City. This approach uses an experimental quantitative approach with a pretest- posttest control group design. Samples were taken through a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique from the results of the test is in the form of a pretest and posttest in the control class and experiments with assessment instruments, namely content, organization, grammar, style, and mechanics in the good category, while the control class is in the sufficient category, both of which reach KKM 70. The difference between the average posttest of the student facilitator and explaining model and the non-examplea example model is 4.8 points, indicating a difference in the benefits and results of the two methods. Therefore, the student facilitator and explaining model is more effective in improving the poetry writing skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang. %O Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pengaruh model student facilitator and explaining, model example non example, dan perbedaan model student facilitator and explaining, model example non example terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang. Pendekatan ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berjenis eksperimen dengan desain pretestposttest control group design. Sampel diambil melalui teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dari hasil tes menulis teks deskripsi berupa pretest beserta posttest di kelas kontrol dan eksperimen dengan instrumen penilaian yaitu isi, organisasi, tata bahasa, gaya, dan mekanik dalam kategori baik, sedangkan kelas kontrol masuk dalam kategori cukup, keduanya mencapai KKM 70. Selisih antara rata-rata posttest model student facilitator and explaining dan model example non example adalah 4,8 poin, menunjukkan perbedaan dalam manfaat dan hasil dari kedua metode tersebut.
