description: One ecotourism that can have an impact on conservation is mangrove ecotourism  which can help conserve the coastal environment. The mangrove ecosystem is a buffer  and has multifunctions. One of the mangrove ecotourism in Serang Regency is  Mangrove Ecotourism in Lontar Village, Tirtayasa District. Ecotourism is managed by  the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) called the Lontar Village Beraama  Business Group (KUBE). This thesis aims to determine the extent of the role of tourism  awareness groups in the management and development of the Lontar Village Mangrove  Ecotourism Area, both materially and non-materially, as well as their influence in the  management and development of the Lontar Village Mangrove Ecotourism Area on the  conservation of the coastal ecosystem and improving the economy of the Lontar Village  community. The method used in this research is qualitative research, namely a  research method used to examine the condition of natural objects, where the researcher  is the key instrument, the data collection technique is carried out by triangulation  (combination), data analysis is inductive, and the results of qualitative research are  more emphasizes meaning rather than generalization with research indicators, namely  identifying tourism opportunities, designing and testing tourism, preparing  stakeholders, building a business, operating a business, and monitoring development  and success.
